This book covers extensively the physical implementation of qubits and quantum architecture. The book explores all the current approaches to physical qubit implementation and includes appendices that review basic quantum computing and physics. This book does assume some basic knowledge of quantum computing. For those readers who lack that knowledge, appendices are provided. Appendix 1 covers the basics of quantum physics and quantum computing. Appendix 2 covers essential math needed to understand quantum computing. Many readers won’t need the material in these appendices, thus they are provided as appendices rather than chapters.
