Each chapter utilizes examples to illustrate the various models, methods, and policies. Inspections are needed greatly for everything with high reliability. Today, hard-time maintenances rarely apply to new products to avoid high operation cost. On the other hand, condition monitoring maintenances are widely applied to most systems, and their system status can be judged from inspection results and minimum necessary maintenances can be performed.
