This book provides an overview of delay-tolerant networking (DTN) and defines several patterns for the design of applications operating in challenged networking environments. This information is generally useful to anyone learning about networking computers in exotic or otherwise nontraditional ways and specifically focused on how this can be accomplished using transport protocols specific to the DTN family of networking solutions.
