Learn to integrate programming with good documentation. This book teaches you the craft of documentation for each step in the software development lifecycle, from understanding your users’ needs to publishing, measuring, and maintaining useful developer documentation. Well-documented projects save time for both developers on the project and users of the software. Projects without adequate documentation suffer from poor developer productivity, project scalability, user adoption, and accessibility. In short: bad documentation kills projects.

Build products using Deep Learning, weakly supervised learning, and natural language processing without collecting millions of training records. This practical book explains how and provides a how-to guide for actually shipping deep learning models–since most of these projects never leave the lab. Deep networks have enabled new applications using unstructured data to proliferate, but much of the work means collecting millions of records as well as labeled datasets. Author Russell Jurney from Data Syndrome helps machine-learning engineers, software engineers, deep learning engineers, and data scientists learn practical applications using several weakly supervised learning methods.

Large biological data, which are often noisy and high-dimensional, have become increasingly prevalent in biology and medicine. There is a real need for good training in statistics, from data exploration through to analysis and interpretation. This book provides an overview of statistical and dimension reduction methods for high-throughput biological data, with a specific focus on data integration. It starts with some biological background, key concepts underlying the multivariate methods, and then covers an array of methods implemented using the mixOmics package in R.

Название: Explainable Natural Language Processing
Автор: Anders Søgaard
Издательство: Morgan & Claypool
Год: 2021
Страниц: 124
Язык: английский
Формат: pdf (true)
Размер: 10.2 MB

This book presents a taxonomy framework and survey of methods relevant to explaining the decisions and analyzing the inner workings of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models. The book is intended to provide a snapshot of Explainable NLP, though the field continues to rapidly grow. The book is intended to be both readable by first-year M.Sc. students and interesting to an expert audience. The book opens by motivating a focus on providing a consistent taxonomy, pointing out inconsistencies and redundancies in previous taxonomies. It goes on to present (i) a taxonomy or framework for thinking about how approaches to explainable NLP relate to one another; (ii) brief surveys of each of the classes in the taxonomy, with a focus on methods that are relevant for NLP; and (iii) a discussion of the inherent limitations of some classes of methods, as well as how to best evaluate them. Finally, the book closes by providing a list of resources for further research on explainability.

You can build your first app in Flutter today―no experience necessary! Flutter is a dream come true for app developers all over the world. With Google's open source tools, you can quickly create stunning cross-platform apps from a single codebase. This versatility allows you to reach the largest potential audience with your work. With thousands of developers using Flutter around the world in a market where billions of apps are downloaded each year, now is the best moment to get ahead of the curve with this great tool. Flutter is a simple, high-performance framework based on Dart language. It provides excellent performance for the simple reason that it renders UI directly on Canvas rather than through the native framework. I find it all really fascinating, and I've tried my best to capture what I feel are the essentials of this vast subject in this book. Since it is impossible to condense all there is to Flutter in one book, I’ve also shared links to websites and resources you can visit for any further information you might need.
