Die Petljakow Pe-8 (russisch Петляков Пе-8, auch TB-7, ТБ-7) war ein sowjetisches viermotoriges Bombenflugzeug im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Benannt wurde es nach seinem Konstrukteur Wladimir Petljakow. Bei Beginn der Auslieferung der ersten Serienflugzeuge im Herbst 1939 war die bis Mitte 1942 als TB-7 bezeichnete Maschine eines der modernsten und technisch höchstentwickelten Flugzeuge weltweit. Besonders die erreichbare große Flughöhe und die hohe Geschwindigkeit machten es für einen Großteil der damaligen Jagdflugzeuge und Luftabwehr nahezu unverwundbar. Hierfür verfügte das Flugzeug anfangs über ein komplexes Ladersystem, das den Einbau eines fünften Motors in seinem Inneren erforderte. Dieser fünfte Motor trieb ein zentrales Ladegebläse an, das Druckluft zu den vier Haupttriebwerken pumpte und so die Motorleistung in großen Höhen sicherstellte. Große Bekanntheit erlangte die Pe-8 zudem im Jahr 1942 durch den Flug des sowjetischen Außenministers Wjatscheslaw Molotow von Moskau nach Washington, D.C. mit Zwischenlandungen in Schottland, Island und Kanada. Als einziger schwerer Langstreckenbomber der Roten Armee im gesamten Krieg hatte die Pe-8 eine exponierte Rolle im Kampf gegen die Achsenmächte, obwohl nur 93 Maschinen des Typs gebaut wurden.
